Workshop Summary
Machine learning has the opportunity to fundamentally change the face of clinical healthcare. However, the challenges of delivering fair and equitable treatment using algorithms have been under-explored. The goal of this workshop is to investigate issues around fairness and other ethical issues that are specific to ML-based healthcare.
We invite everyone to submit an extended abstract or apply for a travel grant.

- All contributed abstracts (and code if made available by authors) will be uploaded on the workshop website.
- Slides from invited speakers will be available here after the workshop. We are looking into providing live stream links here during the workshop..
- Individuals with disabilities can find information about access and special accommodations on the {Dis}Ability in AI website.
- Childcare Facilities are provided in coordination with NeurIPS.
- Sponsors will be specifically asked to contribute toward providing travel grants and covering registration costs.
- Authors who cannot attend in person, but are selected to give spotlights are permitted to stream their presentations remotely.
- Individuals who need financial assistance may apply for a Travel Grant, which will be announced on a rolling basis starting Sept 23.
